Try playing Heads and Tails at home.

Reading
The students have been learning about main idea and support details in Non-Fiction stories. The main idea is the most important thing we learn. Supporting details tell about the main idea. While reading stories at home, non-fiction or fiction, see if your child can identify these key story components.
Writing
The students have been practicing using spaces between betweens, capitalizing the first word in a sentence, and ending sentences with punctuation. They’ve also been trying to hard to remember to use lower case letters within words. This week, we wrote about what we like to do with our friends.
