We're refreshing our brains on the sounds letters make and learning the first grade No Excuse words. We've also been using our bodies to sky write the letters -- skywriting is so much fun. Practice spelling words via skywriting!

We've been practicing counting forwards and backwards from and to a given number with a game called Start with, Get to. Practice this game with your child at home: Start with a given number between 1-100 and ask your child to get to a number between 1-100. Ask, are we counting backwards or forwards? The students love it!
